Through our programs and partnerships, we break down barriers for people with disabilities by changing attitudes, creating accessible spaces and inspiring an inclusive society.


Data Entry Clerk will report to the Manager, Accessibility Assessor Team and work out of the offices of the Rick Hansen Foundation in Richmond. 

The Data Entry Clerk will enter photos, RHF Accessibility Certification (RHFAC) Workbook survey data, scores, comments and notes for clients into the Online Registry.  This data is entered on behalf of the RHFAC Accessibility Assessors.  The RHFAC is a tiered rating system used to determine the accessibility of the built environment, including commercial, institutional, and residential buildings and outdoor trails and pathways. 

A commitment through April 30, 2019 is required. 


  • Accurately and efficiently transfer RHFAC photos, Handbook scores and report results into the Online Registry;
  • Navigate to RHFAC Accessibility Assessors’ Folders in SharePoint;
  • Establish effective working relationships with Accessibility Assessors to fact check data;
  • Track, provide screenshots, troubleshoot and report any technical platform issues or bugs in SharePoint and Online Registry to the appropriate staff and parties;
  • Perform other duties related to the qualifications and requirements of the job.


High School diploma with appropriate experience.


  • Computer experience required including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook;
  • Demonstrated quick, accurate typing experience required;
  • Knowledge and ability to navigate and understand web-based platforms;
  • Understanding of individuals with disabilities or disability groups preferred; and
  • Knowledge or experience with accessibility and/or disability issues preferred. 


  • Effective interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong oral and written communication with the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with others;
  • Ability to accurately type a minimum of 55 words per minute;
  • Ability to deal with the pressures and repetition of entering high volumes of data into a web-based platform;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with integrity; and
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
